How Do Prescriptions Work?

01

Initial Prescription

A prescription may be issued only after an individual clinical assessment when the prescriber considers it clinically appropriate. Booking or completing a questionnaire does not guarantee a prescription or a particular treatment.

02

Pharmacy choice

With your consent, an electronic prescription can be sent securely through Pabau to CloudRx, the clinic's connected independent dispensing pharmacy. If you prefer another appropriately registered UK pharmacy, tell us before the prescription is issued so we can explain the available route.

03

Dispensing and payment

The dispensing pharmacy is responsible for accepting the prescription, taking any medication and delivery payment, dispensing and delivery under its own terms. Pharmacy charges are separate from MenoCareHealth consultation fees.

04

Ongoing medication reviews

Requests for ongoing medication are assessed individually. The prescriber may require a follow-up consultation, monitoring or other information before deciding whether another prescription is clinically appropriate. Submit non-urgent requests through the patient portal in good time.
