Clinical tests

Blood tests are not required before booking unless a clinician has specifically advised them.

MenoCareHealth does not provide laboratory testing, operate a laboratory or have an affiliated laboratory provider. If testing is clinically indicated, it is arranged case by case through your NHS GP or a laboratory provider you choose.

How testing works

1. Clinical review: Your clinician will discuss whether any tests may be relevant to your symptoms, medical history and ongoing care.

2. Your choice of provider: You decide whether to ask your GP or use an independent laboratory provider. MenoCareHealth does not receive a referral fee and does not require you to use a particular provider.

3. Results: The GP or laboratory provider is responsible for its own service, sample collection, charges and issuing the result. You can share the result securely with MenoCareHealth through Pabau for clinical review.

4. Follow-up: Your clinician will interpret relevant results in the context of your individual care and discuss appropriate next steps. A test result does not automatically lead to medication or a prescription.

MenoCareHealth does not offer clinical tests as a stand-alone screening service.
