Dr Silas Gimba - Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

YOUR CLINICIAN

Dr Silas Gimba

MBBS, MSc, FRCOG, MBA (Merit), MSCP

Dr Gimba is a UK-based consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 35 years’ experience in women’s health and menopause care. He is the founder of Menopause Specialist Clinics (menocarehealth.com), a CQC-regulated and ICO-registered virtual clinic offering personalised care for women navigating menopause, perimenopause, menstrual disorders, and midlife health challenges.

What sets Menocarehealth apart is direct access to a specialist from your first consultation — no lengthy waiting lists, no being passed between clinicians. Every appointment is with Dr Gimba personally, ensuring continuity of care and a treatment plan built around your individual needs. Dr Gimba is a GMC-registered Consultant Gynaecologist with expertise in menopause care and holds Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) status. Dr Gimba uses current terminology and guidance recommended by the British Menopause Society. His practice integrates evidence-based therapies with tailored education and lifestyle guidance.

A medical educator who has trained hundreds of doctors throughout his career, Dr Gimba previously served as Director of Postgraduate Medical Education, with responsibility for postgraduate doctors training in general practice and across hospital specialties. This depth of teaching experience shapes every Menocarehealth consultation — patients receive care from a specialist who knows how to listen, explain, and ensure you leave every appointment understanding your options.

Whether managing complex symptoms, answering the questions you’ve never had time to ask, or helping you feel like yourself again — Menocarehealth was built for this.
